Originated in Eastern Europe during the early 1900s, fascism is often compared with Nazism and Stalinism. This means that one person obtains the most power, often a dictator is in control of the entire country. The first one to use this was on 1919, but a man named Benito Mussolini, an Italian dictator. Fascism was considered to be the complete opposite to Karl Marx’s communism. (“Fascism,” 2013) Since Marxist communism eliminates power (as no one makes decisions and everyone does what is best for the community), fascism which gives all power to one person is the complete opposite to it.

The Fascist Animal Farm create by Napoleon reflects the Stalinist Communist Russia created by Stalin. Much like Stalin, Napoleon was able to do so by constantly causing propaganda to say good things about him, covering up failures he has done and too boost his image in front of the animals. Until the point where the animals (or public in general) are too stupid to think for themselves and blindly believe in what Napoleon says. This is much like how Stalin idolizes himself.
