Animal Farm by George Orwell published in English 1945, was a fairy tale said by George Orwell himself, but is actually a book based on the Russian Revolution. The book can be classified as satire and roman à clef, meaning that all the characters in this story are actually based on real people but with a different name.
Animal Farm is a fairy story, this is to prevent people from directing his work at him that Animal Farm was in fact a satire, because Stalin still had a positive reputation back then.
